15% off of the restaurant was an added bonus as the restaurant was rather spendy - had good food though.
If you want to unplug from society here is the place. Extremely high priced for nothing. Cabin smelled, black hairs on the floor in bathroom, no refrigerator, no microwave, no tv, no phone, poor cell service and no air conditioning. If adjoining cabin showered had no hot water. Cabins are extremely dated (late 70's). There was a picnic table area but near individual cabins so they used them. You can sit outside of your cabin to enjoy tranquility ( one plastic chair per room) if you don't mind the staff listening to your conversations, stacking dirty laundry in duffel bags on the porch and leaving them there all night. They have real keys for rooms and if you leave key in room DO NOT close door there is no way to unlock the door it is always locked only way back in to room is with the key and to call them to let you back in they charge a ridiculous fee. I give it the one star because I did enjoy the quiet.
For your money and the location it's better than camping.
Just read the reviews. This motel sucks ass. Very outdated and can hear everything going on in neighboring room. Hasn't been renovated since being built in the 70's. Way over priced for what you get. Only redeeming quality was the 15% discount at the restaurant next door.
Our room didn't have fresh sheets. When we went to bed we found a used toothpick in the sheets. Shower was so small I had to turn off water and open curtains so I could wash my legs. Kind of dumpy. Best thing I could say is that it had electricity and running water.
extremely expensive for what it was. Including tax paid $145 per night for two nights in a small room with no air conditioning, no phone, and no TV. Bathroom was small and and shower was smaller. I'm not tall, at 5' 6" but the shower nozzle was below my chin - did I mention it was extremely small? HOWEVER, our room was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. My wife has trouble with almost all motel beds and she slept comfortably both nights. And, of course, that's the main reason we stayed there.
