Beware booking here. I made a reservation 6month prior to the busy summer season for my family of 5. The reservation was paid and confirmed multiple times. That is, until one week prior to our arrival when I received an email stating that the inn had overbooked and would no longer honor our reservation. We were not assisted with finding other accommodations. I have never heard of any business operating in this manner and staying in business.
It's certainly a longer drive to the most interesting spots of the park in comparison to the park lodge but from what we have seen, it offers much better value.
Wonderful place to stay. We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was just amazing. It is off the beaten path and quiet. Has a great selection of breakfast items. would recommend this to anyone.
Cozy place to stay while visiting Glacier NP. The room was very comfortable and quite big. Everything including the bathroom was well cleaned. The furnishing and the whole building look rustic but are nevertheless in great shape. It has a familiar atmosphere and it's really nice to relax on the deck in front of the house in the evening. Apart from the occasional train it's really quiet around the house. The cold breakfast was good and there are some nice options for dinner around.
Wow! Senna and her daughters are wonderful hosts providing a warm welcome while maintaining a beautiful lodge for many guests. Chief Mountain (our room) is roomy and ultra comfortable. Loved the lofty towels and large private bath. The evenings on the deck with other guests were amazing - Big Sky!
Beautiful Inn. Customer service was stellar. Rooms are clean, well kept, beautiful decor. Glacier is 5 mins away. Easy to find if you can read. Beautiful deck to sit out under the stars at night. Peaceful, serene, private. Great continental type breakfast, fresh fruits muffins bagels, waffles, coffee, juice. Free bear spray to borrow. Nice common areas to relax. BYOB. Bed was super comfortable. I wanted to move in, I really tried. Must visit.
