Great rustic cabins close to the park. The lady working was such a great help.
The rooms are pretty dated. The main reason for the two stars is that some of the rooms do not have air conditioning. I walked the property and it seems that some do and others don't. We were in the unlucky group being here in the middle of summer without a/c. I wish I had been told about the a/c because then I would have upgraded to a cabin. Instead it was kept a secret until too late and I was already here with no where else to go. Please confirm whether or not your room has it because once your here it's too late. All the places here are always full! Also, there were quite a few bugs in our room if that sort of thing bothers you.
I had a reasonable time here. If you're looking for somewhere with close proximity to the park, this is your place. Otherwise, it's fine, if unremarkable. The rooms are pretty dated but well kept. The staff is helpful and friendly. The view is spectacular. If your goal is to spend most of your time in the park and just need somewhere to sleep, you'll be happy with Vista
Staff was accommodating, professional and friendly. Room was as advertised. You do not need anything more. I was alone in a queen room and it was perfect. The view of Glacier was beautiful. Most importantly the place was clean. It's a stone's throw from the park entrance. There is an early morning train and highway traffic, but that dies down late in the day. There are complimentary ear plugs and ac floor units that drown out noise and keep you cool. I will be back for sure.
Clean but basic rooms. About as close to the west entrance of glacier national park as you can get, which was the main selling point for me.
