Decent visitor center, very helpful. They don't have the largest selection of purchasables, but you are so close to Apgar village that it doesn't really matter.
This visitor center was close to some trail heads. The staff Rangers were so nice and helpful. They help everyone with questions on which was the best trail for them. There is also a gift shop inside. I admit I bought couple of items. We were recommend Rocky Point trail because I am pregnant and I had my 7 year old with me. The trail was perfect for my daughter. The right distance and difficulty for her and it provided a beautiful view of the lake.

Stuff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Great stop to plan out your trip or adjust you plans with consideration of any fires or other hazards at the time of your visit. And there are also very nice bathrooms here.
Little visitor center with a small gift shop - there are more shops further in the park if you want more choice. Has a ranger desk (they were very helpful)
