I made reservations 10 days in advance for July 18, 2017 and stopped by the office to confirm our spot A9 with the office on July 17. When we arrived on the 18th we found someone else was parked in our spot. We had been moved to another much less private spot because "someone's truck broke down and they couldn't move". The trailer and car in "our" spot didn't appear to be a"broken down" truck so I'm not sure why we had to be moved. I am not happy with the abrupt treatment I got when I politely asked if we could have that spot back in a day or two or if there was another more private spot available. I was told that "we could get a full refund if we didn't want to stay there". We made reservations in advance knowing the demand in this area for a spot so we're stuck with this arrangement. The abrupt treatment was unsettling and having to be moved because of someone problem is not good for business and I will not be staying here again. The "broken down truck" should have been made to call a tow truck rather than move people who planned ahead. Yvonne Gray
TEN STARS! I'm bicycle touring and saw online they are friendly to my tribe. A wind & rain squall swept through to delay and tire me out. Host Ruby read this on me and in my moment of need directed me to the wonderful solace this site provides. Thank you thank you thank you!
We spent a week and half traveling to Glacier National Park and Banff, this campground was amazing for a few reasons. First off their bathrooms were CLEAN and NICE, we took showers when we first arrived, then we went and stayed at a campground in the park and decided to come back out to pay to take showers here AGAIN because they were so nice. Secondly, the lady who was at the front desk was very helpful and insisted us to stay and have the warm breakfast they offer in the morning. Thirdly, we paid barely anything to camp here for one night in our car, in a small parking space with a picnic table, but it was perfect for what we needed. Lastly, it is SUPER close to the entrance to Glacier National Park and we would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Thanks!
Very close to the park. Showers were okay. Sites were uneven but shady. Roads were dusty and rocky. The sites are small. Staff was pleasant. Trains run at night but not too noisy. If you came to spend time in the park this is a good option.
Very quiet and private campground. Laid back people no car alarms going off no generators running. Just nature 11/10 would recommend !
