We stopped at the candy shop on our way to Lake McDonald. About halfway through paying, they mentioned we were their first customers. The staff were surprised to see us - I think we wandered into the store before they officially opened - and they were quite gracious.

Great little treasure. The ice cream & shakes are amazing!!! They also have a few pastry options. Staff are welcoming and nice. Definitely come back.
The huckleberry ice cream here is excellent, and I'm a huge ice cream snob. My boyfriend also ordered a latte and he said it was pretty good (he is a huge coffee snob). I bought some of their chocolate fudge and it is also tasty, not overly sweet as most fudge is. If you want ice cream, coffee, or candy you can't go wrong here.
